Whether it’s lacing up to go running in the snow or simply shoveling your sidewalks, a snow day doesn’t necessarily equal an off day.
Find some great ways to still get a workout in even though the weather is less than ideal.
Snowy Day Running Tips:
– run before it gets bad out
– find a parking garage
– run on a treadmill
– shovel and shovel some more (great for strength work)
– put snow shoes on
– wait until the streets get plowed
– ski or snowboard (great cross training workouts)
Whatever you decide, respect of the conditions, but more importantly HAVE FUN!
