An online running coach can catapult you to new running results
Using a coach to create your training plan will dramatically improve your racing performance
Preparing for your upcoming running season is as important as the actual racing. You should always be looking to sign up for a future race – maybe a marathon or a few 5k’s and 10k’s; or maybe you’ve signed up for popular races like the Broad Street Run or Rock ‘n Roll Half Marathon in Philadelphia. While spending money on race registrations, you should also consider getting your very own personal, online running coach.
I currently work with athletes from all across the country (even internationally) and work with runners with all different abilities, backgrounds, and goals. If you’re looking for special attention that a generic training program cannot provide, I am the coach for you.
Why a Running Coach:
I hear these two phrases a lot: “I’m not fast, I don’t need a running coach” and “I can’t afford a running coach”. It’s my honest opinion that literally everyone in the world who wants to get better at running should have a running coach. A coach is there to help guide your training, see any potential problems in your training and steer you to success. Having a coach isn’t for the elite; quite the contrary. A coach prepares you for a race based on your ability and your goals.
I understand that having a personal coach can get costly if you choose a coach who doesn’t fit your needs. Of course, an added expense may not be in your budget, but as I know a lot of us runners out there are paying a hefty price on race entry fees, it’s always important to reach your running goals and a running coach can help you do that.
As your would-be running coach, it’s my duty to ensure you’ll be as prepared for your race as possible. You’ll be trained and supported based on your running history, your racing goals, and what you’re comfortable handling. Each and every training plan is unique to every single runner TrainwithMarc works with.
Benefits to YOU:
Customizable Training Plan
Each training plan I write is unique to the individual. I create a plan based on the wants and needs of each individual runner and so no two plans are ever alike. Because of this, creating a training plan is carefully plotted out and hand-crafted to meet your specific needs.
As a team member of TrainwithMarc, it’s important that you not only race to your optimal performance but that you also look the part too. We’re a tribe of runners who are seeking to get the most out of each and every run. Having a unified blue racing shirt helps build the community.
Online Training Log
One of TrainwithMarc’s signature qualities is the training log. Custom built, fully functional, and shareable between the runner and Marc, the training log offers the runner spots for feedback, tracking shoe’s mileage, spotting trends, logging mileage, and opportunities for comparing monthly details.
Injury Prevention Techniques
Finding yourself with an injury? Whether major or minor, TrainwithMarc can alter your training plan and prescribe alternate methods of gaining or maintaining fitness.
As your coach, it’s important for you to know that your success depends on you being healthy. If something comes up, whether it’s an injury, vacation or lack of motivation, I’m here for you. When you need to reach me, I’m an email, text or social media direct message away.
Feeling like you need a down week? Or maybe you need to up your mileage. With TrainwithMarc, that’s a possibility. I can adapt and modify your training plan within minutes.
If you are unsure about a run, a workout, or you have a scheduling conflict, you can reach out to me and we can work through any issues or barriers you need help with.
Deciding what pace to run a race at can be tricky. I’ll devise a racing plan for you that will set you up to perform at your best, feel good throughout and leave you feeling ready for your next race.
We all lack motivation at some point in our training. When things start to go south, lean on Marc to get you back on track. He’s been there and done it; he knows what motivates you to get you reenergized and focused on your goals!
Strength Training Routines
TrainwithMarc is set up for you to get all you need out of a running coach. This absolutely includes strength training. It’s the foundation for all running and it’s imperative that a good program is in place.
As your coach, TrainwithMarc will provide you lots of tangible things you can use to improve your running. He’ll create a training plan that includes specific, daily runs including paces and workout routines. Built into your training plan will be cross training recommendations and strength training workouts. I’m also available to be your sounding board for any questions or issues you may have.
