Coach Marc lined up on Saturday for Haddonfield’s Adrenaline 5k and with a 1,000 of his friends ran to a great time. Marc’s C-goal was sub-17, B-goal was sub 16:50, and A-goal was to come close to beating his HS athlete (who is fitter than his coach). Somehow though Coach Marc came away with a 16:28. His splits were 5:12, 5:35, and 5:39 for the last 1.1 miles. Results are here.
Marc is really excited to see where the rest of his training goes now that he’s able to figure out how to teach, coach, plan a wedding, take classes and run.

Thanks Jim! Years of mileage under my belt helped and so did some competition with one of my HS runners. How’s everything with you?
