Celebrate Being a Runner

It’s almost time to celebrate the 4th of July, and what other way best than by running a road race?  While there are at least 2 in our area that we like to do, I’m sure there are plenty of others!  Since we’ll be out of town during the holiday, we decided we’d try our hand at this race.  Sure, it’s about 3,000 miles away, but we’ll be out there anyway – so we’ll lace up!

Closer to home, there is the Haddon Heights 5k and the Marlton Mayors Cup 5k – both very good races that I’ve personally competed in.

Reminders: our group run will be happening tonight.  We’ll be doing our track workout that we didn’t do on Tuesday.  Also, HRT will not be meeting the week of July 1st!
