The (Frozen) Cherry Tree 10 Miler

Joe P took to the arctic roads of NYC on Sunday to run the Cherry Tree 10 Miler. Joe came into the race not having raced yet this year, but came out of Sunday with a very solid performance! Not only did he battle other area runners, his toughest challenger might have been Mother Nature.

Results can be found here.

If any of you attempted a run on Sunday, you’ll know that the runners in this race are straight up bad-asses!. He ran 58:33 for the 10 miles – 5:51 pace – in windy, nasty cold conditions. He placed 11th overall in the tough competition. Very impressive.

Congrats to Joe as he moves on to his next race in a few weeks.
